I’m trying to get the office set up and post reports at the same time. There ia a lot of info coming in on a number of forex issues.

It may be premature to say this but her goes, My guess is that the Forex MegaDroid update is cosmetic and for marketing purposes. The waiting issue was a major source of questions and frustration for those who purchased the products . Waiting has been replaced with two more descriptive notices that do make you feel better but do little else. I could be wrong … they could be true indicators of what the Droid AI is actually thinking. Here’s what I’m talking about:

You can see that the waiting is gone and has been replaced with Checking Volatility and Correction Detected. Great! Happy to hear it. Makes since. Only isn’t Forex MegaDroid marketing as having Artificial Intelligence and being able to trade in any market? Volatility or not it should be able to trade. I like volatility. Swings make money. And is this only an indicator change or will it fix the no-trade-in-a-week syndrome we have experienced?

OK, I haven’t given it a chance I know, and products are often released then tweaked to fit market demands. I plan on sticking with Forex MegaDroid for a while longer just to see how it preforms over time. It will go on a couple demo accounts soon so it is ready for trading next week.

Received the Forex MegaDroid version, downloaded it and now can’t install the .dll file.

9pm – an houre later… Got Forex MegaDroid running. Took some doing but the .dll file was an issue again. Not sure the issue but I had to reboot to be able to delete the old file and load the new one. In any case it is running.

Main difference I see is the waiting is replaced with more descriptive messages; Checking Volatility and Correction Detected. Nice but it is still waiting.

The email with the update info once again stated that MegaDroid may not trade for the first 24-48 hours while it checks out the market. We are now at a week with no trades and now it will be another two days.

I have had a number of emails and comments about the error 126 I received for Forex MegaDroid so I dediced to post the MegaDroid Customer Service email response I received. Hope it helpps.

Our customer support team has replied to your support request (ticket # edited)

Thank you for your email. Please, try to perform next actions:

1) Please try to rename file to \”MegaDroid.dll\”, then reload your MT4 platform.

2) The DLL file (MegaDroid.dll) has been blocked so please locate the MegaDroid.dll file in the `libraries` folder using a file browser (as shown in the manual) and right-click the icon. Select `Properties` from the context menu and look for an `Unblock` button on the Properties dialog that will appear.  If the button is visible, click it, then restart MetaTrader.

We hope this response has sufficiently answered your question(s). If not, please do not send another email. Instead, reply to this email or log in to the support ticket system for a complete archive of all your support requests and responses.

Yet another forex robot hits the streets. Forex Maestro has launched I have only read a few things about it and don’t play to try it any time soon, have to get my FAPTurbo and Forex MegaDroid making me real money first.

If you purchased Forex Maestro or have read about it let us know. It looks like another robot with a new technology, Counter intuitive Movement (CIM).

We’ll see how it goes but now it seems everyone and their brother is coming out with an EA and calling the code some impressive sounding breakthrough technology.We’ll see what we can dig up.

The Forex Noob

I took the time to look more closely at my trades from last night and see that I missed a Forex MegaDroid trade.

On my FxPro demo account MegaDroid made a trade:

Buy .1 @ 12:37a @ 1.33970, Sell @ 1:58a @ 1.34031 for a profit of $6.10

On my FastFX demo account it traded:

Buy .4 @ 1.3398 @ 12:37a, Sell @ 1:59a for 1.3403 for a profit of $20.

Buy .4 @ 1.3391 @ 1:16a, Sell @ 2:03a for 1.3406 for a profit of $60.

That means that my Mega Droid is up $126.10 over the past 8 days and FAPTurbo is heading down faster then originally believed.

A couple things to note: 1) Forex MegaDroid is loaded on my FxPro and FastFX accounts. FxPro consistently have spreads in the high teens while FastFX spread is 2 pips, this is why I put the Droid on both accounts. 2) Since MegaDroid is on my FastFX demo account FAPTurbo long term is not running. This coud certianlly effect FAPTurbo profit/loss. 3) I had a number of open positions on my FxPro demo account so Mega Droid trading may have been effected by the available margin. Both demo accounts are set up with $5000.
