The Forex Noob

So far there is none.

I received an auto responder this morning at 10:02a that included my ticket number but nothing has followed. Am I expecting too much? I don’t think so, it’ s been 5 hours and on their site they make a big deal about their CS.

I have also looked into downloading Forex MegaDroid again but can’t find the download page even using the link in the email I received with the purchase.

And in looking around I found that all of their links Home | Terms | Privacy

I checked out a few forex forums and according to the posts Forex Deal Butler has the $4.95 non-refundable initial fee to try the EA then they charge your credit card another $2,100 unless you cancel within 10 days. I will not be testing this product.

Most of the posts I found placed Forex Deal Butler in the scam category.

I like the idea of Forex Deal Butler , a Green Light, Red Light expert adviser that leaves the actual trading up to you. But, that means you have to be at your computer paying attention when the green light flashes. If this system is great why not turn it into an EA? And at $2100 and with the negative press I’ve seen I’d be hard pressed to purchase it.

I received another update email from the Albert Perrie & John Grace team at Forex MegaDroid. First they have what appears to be live trade updates posted here. It shows positive trades so I am wondering why mine has yet to make a trade.

In addition their email lists answers to what I am sure are questions they are receiving. Here’s part of the email.

I appreciate the updates and answers. They now address the EURUSD only issue, the fact that Forex MegaDroid does not trade on Fridays and Sundays, that’s new info for me, and a couple error codes.

It also suggests setting the chart time frame at 1H. It suggests this setting. What effect will a 1M or 4H setting have on results?

Oops, I missed it, I missed the trade made by Forex MegaDroid.

On April 2nd at 1:09a EST Forex MegaDroid made a trade, went short closing up 10 pips for $40. What I find interesting is that if it had gone long at 1.3247 it could have closed at 1.3523 a couple hours later.

I admit that I don’t understand fully how these fores EAs work but if Forex MegaDroid truly runs forex AI and “sees 2-4 hours into the future” wouldn’t this be the kind of trend it would catch? OK, nothing is perfect but……

Also, the chart was set at 1M. Could this have effected the Forex MegaDroid crystal ball?

By nature I question motives. My wall of defense has a few extra feet on it while I’m on the internet, there are a lot of scammers in the virtual world and you have to be extra careful. That is especially the case when money is involved.

How many reviews have you seen for any forex robot that praises the product? “You can make loads of money with no work by buying this forex robot. You don’t even have to trade, it does all the work!”

Sorry, that’s crap.

We’ve seen web site after web site touting Forex MegaDroid and how wonderful it is. I have received dozens of emails marketing Forex MegaDroid (Most from the FAPTurbo guys) with proof it is the end all to forex robots or forex AI if you will. The proof….back tests. Where are the real time tests? Show me the beta test that ran prelaunch and are running now.

And why are the FAPTurbo folks pushing Forex MegaDroid so hard. Isn’t it a competing product? I just received another email titled Bye Bye To Outdated Forex Robots‏. Here’s part of the email:

The reason this robot is one of the few that is capable of actually achieving this is because of its advanced Artificial Intelligence break/through: RCTPA.

Understand that to market products on line a new developer will enter into a JV (Joint Venture) with an expert in the desired market. FAPTurbo people would be considered experts in forex trading. So the  FAPTurbo folks will get a piece of each Forex MegaDroid sale for saying how great it is. Bloggers will enter into affiliate agreements with products and praise them in hopes to make a commission. Thus all of the blogs and web sites saying the same thing about any given product. Few are honest, they are just trying to sell you.

Yes, I have an affiliate relationship with both FAPTurbo and Forex MegaDroid but I believe I am being honest about my personal experience with both. If these and other products work I’ll let you know, if they don’t I’ll say it. And my reviews are based on current trades not back tests. Back tests have their place in analyzing data but give me real time info.

Let me take a breath and say that I am not saying that the FAPTurbo or Forex MegaDroid people are bad guys or that their products are not worth the money. I am after all a forex noob and just learning about forex robots. I am also testing and tweaking  and playing with both to see how they work for me. My reviews are my feelings/beliefs based on my experience. Yours may be different. I hope they are both great and make me rich over night.
